This was around 34 weeks--I'm 35 now.
I alternate between feeling like I cannot gain another pound and feeling like I might as well eat whatever I want because I'm 8 months pregnant and food is my only joy. We stop for donuts a lot.
We moved Bennett into the boys' room, mostly because he wants to be in there with the big boys. At first we just put his crib mattress on the floor, but this kept happening:
Tyler decided to build him a little trundle box/bed:
The ability to build such great thing is Tyler's second best feature. It slides perfectly under the bunk-bed during the day:
Like everyone else I've been trying to figure out what to do in the cold weather. We've spent time at the Children's Museum:
Cool tunnels made out of packing tape!
The Monterey Aquarium:
Charlie took Penguiney to see the penguins.
And spent our spare time making decorations and a pinata for Max's upcoming monkey birthday party:
Speaking of birthday parties, we celebrated Tyler's grandma's 99th!
Those balloons were my gift.
In a desperate attempt to get out one cold Saturday night, we made the horrible, horrible decision to go to Chuck E. Cheese's:
The huddled masses
Never again!
This weekend I watched my sister-in-law Molly's little boys in return for her watching my boys for the weekend we were in London.
They are adorable little guys and it went well. (Even though her two-year-old would holler "ASHLEY, I AWAKE! ASHLEY, I AWAKE!" in the 6:00 am hour. That guy needs to get to know his Uncle Tyler!) Molly's boys take long naps every afternoon, so we saw eye to eye on that.
Alright, that's all I've got for January. See you in February!

Your January seems down right delightful. You speak of these naps but then tell about making pinantas and monkey decor in your next breath...how do you do it? Don't you know you can buy a pinanta?! Yours is really cute. And i don't care what you say...you are no where near big enough to be a proper gestating Warner woman...where are the fat arms?
What is Tyler first best feature?
First, Brookie - it's "pinata" -with a little squiggly thing over the n, not "pinanta."
Second, what is Tyler's first best feature? (I would say the handsome he has passed on to the boys)
Third, you look FABULOUS!! Even Rex told me tonight that you looked really good and SMALL! (he said you didn't look like you were about to have a baby!)
Fourth, that monkey pinata is so dang cute - I like to think you got your creative gene from me
And finally, those boys are just adorable!! So are Molly's.
In my defense, I was on my ipad and didn't even notice the spelling. And I am too lazy to go back and delete my comment and re-post it.
Brooke I was carefully holding my arm out to try to get a flattering arm shot. The fat arms are attached to the meaty shoulders.
And Tyler's best feature is his curvy backside, clearly!
I have been trying to shame Chuche into making a table and chairs for Mita. He's been unenthusiastic, so I am going to show him that AMAZING bed Tyler made to try and spur him into action. Did I mention the bed is AMAZING?
Guess what else is AMAZING? Your pregnant bod. You look gorgeous! All glowy and all belly. I don't believe a word you say about fat arms.
Also AMAZING: the pinata. I felt depressed that you are so ambitious but your comment to me about your christmas decor has me in a forgiving and lenient frame of mind. :)
I laughed and laughed that you lie down "just in case" for two hour naps. I've missed your posts!
That box bed is awesome! What kind of mattress is in there? I bet he loves it. Maybe we should do that for simon (our 3rd). I think I found your blog when charlie was a baby... exciting that you're having your 4th boy. They are all so cute!
You are way too cute for being that far along!! I like your stance on naps and on donuts.
You are so beautiful. I wish Josh could build anything...or just hang up the dang mirror. Pick me up a donut next time please! Can't wait till next month to see your next red head:)
I see by the comments that I'm not the only one up early in the morning (at 6 AM, I'm downright late). As always, everyone else has said it all - thin, creative pregnant lady with darling kids and wonderful husband!
Sara--it's a crib mattress.
Feel free to take my kids to the aquarium, donut shop, children's museum, and chuck-e-cheese next time. We don't take them anywhere. Besides, it's obvious they really like you. Especially at 6am. ;) Thanks again!!
Good to see you're passing the month in style...and oh how I envy the naps! Enjoy them while you can. You don't look pregnant enough to be a month away from D-day...you look fantastic! Love the custom bed for Benny...genius!
You look beautiful!
I laughed out loud at Bennett, half-in, half-out of bed. I'm glad you have Tyler to rectify such situations.
Don't keep your fans waiting a month before your next post. What with you and Brooke both MIA for a few weeks I was thinking either something terrible had happened in your family, or that you went into premature labor.
Good luck with the end of your pregnancy!
Sleep......I'm so glad you are getting naps. I have fond memories of naps I'd insist on in my pregnant life. Ahhh.
You look amazing for 8 months pregnant. How did you do that?
I drove by Chuck-e-cheese the other night and I asked Brian when he thought we would finally be asked to go there. Luckily for us our kids have not made the suggestion. Instead they ask for Classic skating all the time. Not sure which is worse.
That trundle bed is Pinterest worthy. Tyler needs to make a "how-to" video. Totally adorable and space effcient.
You make a very cute pregnant lady. Also that bed is AMAZING! I may have to steal that idea someday. I agree with Kristine... Totally Pinterest worthy.
